How can I enjoy life more

A few years ago Robbie Williams sang 'Let Me Entertain You'. I reckon that could easily become the anthem of our age. We want something added to our lives that will bring us enjoyment, give us a buzz or a high. We often expect this to be added to us from outside. It may be from a gym, a show, a movie, a bottle, a shop, a syringe, a download - in fact any number of places.
It was Jesus who said: 'I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.' Was he talking about a perpetual party where you never got hung over? Was he talking about bliss for the adrenaline junkies?
He was talking about a life that was full of purpose and meaning. A life that is fulfilled. He was talking about not having your days (and you've only got so many) robbed away from you, but having the ability to make each one count. We gain the ability to live that life when we stop chasing the things that are quick fixes and actually choose to put God and others first in our lives. So we give to live a better life rather than take.
Someone asked Jesus what they must do to inherit eternal, complete & full life. He answered: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind' and 'love your neighbour as yourself.'

Steve and Jane married in 1992, Lucy was born in 1999. They were all born and raised in the Maidstone Area. The route to him becoming a disciple of Jesus started when he was at infant school and took �til he was 20!
